Before Your Appointment

Microblading results create amazing looking eyebrows, however, the procedure is not recommended for everyone. To prevent any complications related to your overall well being, please review the suggestions/requirements and contraindications below.

***Appointments typically last 2.5 - 3 hours; babies or children cannot be present during your appointment, so please make the necessary arrangements in advance.

MICROBLADING/POWDER BROWS PRE CARE

Before your Appointment

  • No Botox treatments should be done 3 weeks prior or 4 weeks after the procedure

  • No chemical peels 60 days before or after the procedure (brows will peel quicker due to chemicals traveling under the skin)

  • No Retinols/Retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams, or serums containing acids as these will fade brows prematurely

  • Do not work out or sweat heavily the day of the procedure (Or 2 weeks after)

  • Do not tan or have a sunburned face the day of the procedure

  • Do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, or ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure

  • No waxing or tinting 3 days before the procedure

  • No alcohol or caffeine 24 hrs before procedure

LIP BLUSH PRE CARE

Before your Appointment:

Your lips cannot be dry for the appointment.  If they are dry we will need to reschedule and you will forfeit your deposit.  You may exfoliate 3 days before your appointment to remove any dry skin.  You can use a lip scrub or create your own using a little honey and brown sugar.  For the week leading up to the appointment, you must moisturize your lips as much as possible (I recommend using Aquaphor).

*IMPORTANT*

Cold sores are a risk of lip blush tattoo.  If you have had a cold sore in the past- we advise you to go to the doctor for an anti-viral medication prior to any lip procedure, to help avoid an outbreak.  Even if you have not had a cold sore before- I recommend all of my clients take L-lysine 2 weeks before the appointment and 2 weeks following the appointment to reduce the risk.
